Hello, a couple years ago I had issues with this laptop constantly spinning in circles and and just the Hp logo, I have attempted to use system recovery which leads to black screen and even recently bought windows 10 installation media to no avail. I have tried reformatting the drive and reinstalling windows but both options just lead to infinite loading. At this point I think replacing the internal SSD with an HDD( preferably for storage ) would be the best idea considering the internal hard drive seems completely dead at this point and I have tried all options to get the hard drive functioning . Any suggestions/help would be much appreciated!

Here is the translation of the error:

Here is the Service Manual:
You did not need to buy Windows 10 installation media. It is a free download from Microsoft and you have a license for Windows 10 embedded in the BIOS or otherwise do not need a license Code to install it.
You do need to replace the hard drive. If you have an SSD (this series of models can have a mechanical hard drive or a solid state drive) that is what you want to use for replacement.

So will something like this work for this laptop? Samsung SSD 860 EVO 250GB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E250B/AM)
If so how would I find the tools needed to open this device and would I need anything additional?
I also assume I could use the bootable media to install windows on this drive because it’s internal.
i also had to buy windows 10 installation media because I do not have another computer to create a bootable USB

Yes the 860 Evo 2.5 inch would work in the hard drive bay assuming you have a 2.5 inch drive in there now. If you have an M.2 SSD the mounting hardware will be different. The Service Manual lists the tools you need but generally you need a precision Phillips screwdriver.

Hard drives are generic, interchangeable. All SATA 2.5 inch hard drives and SSDs connect with the same connectors and have mounting holes in the same location. Get a 7mm thick one, the fit is universal. Some will not take a 9.5mm or thicker model.

Still need to know just what you have in the laptop. Might be either a 2.5 inch or an M.2 SSD. Very different animals and if you try to switch to a different kind of storage you need mounting hardware which is very hard to locate. So if you can take a screen shot of device manager and open up disk drives and see what it says.

That's an M.2 gumstick disk. Has to be SATA. Here is one you can use:
