Hello, I have been looking to see if my laptop is compatible with any HP stylus pens but am unable to find any current information. Any compatibility list that is linked is dead and my conversations with HP support led me to believe that my laptop is not compatible with most of the HP pens, but was informed that there were some pen models that could work and the HP store would know which ones. Bought the base HP pen on the stores assurance and it isnt working at the moment, Is there any HP pens that would work with my laptop model or do I need a third party supplier?

@YUNGSLAB you can check the stylus compatibility through the virtual agent: Click here

- they keyword is "stylus compatibility". and then follow the process.

if it does not mention anything about it, that may mean that the device only supports passive stylus and here's all you need to know about it:

  • A passive stylus (also known as capacitive stylus) functions the same as your finger on the screen.
  • Passive styluses do not require batteries, and they work on any touch screen device.

you may order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal.
