HP Pen paired but not writing

Hi, I just bought an HP pen HP PN 839082-003 to use it with my HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-bp1xx and I paired it with my notebook . It is connected with the notebook since the pen reacts when clicking or double-clicking the top button and opens my windows ink workspace, but i doen's write or draw. When I bought the pen is said it was compatible. Can anyone help me? Thanks!!

The following is (also) likely compatible, though it is possible not all the "tilt" features would be supported.

What about ...

I do not know why you were told the pen for the Elite X2 is compatible with your Envy x360 system.

HP Elite x2 1012 G1 Stylus Active Pen 839082-003

I am not saying it is definitely not compatible, I am saying I do not have any information to confirm what you were told. 

My personal opinion is that the Elite x2 does not use the same pen as does an x360, even when that x360 supports a pen (not all models do support a stylus).
