HP ProBook 11 EE G 4HY12UP#ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I just received one of these from Amazon and don't like the large bulge on the bottom from the larger capacity battery and will be returning it.  It isn't shown that way in the photos.  It IMG_0052.JPGalso feels pretty heavy.  Is that because of the huge battery?

I'd like to buy one elsewhere but all of the other vendors show it as being out of stock.

This is a 2019 release.  Any idea why it's so hard to find?

Hi,

Yes, that would be the 6-cell battery instead of the 3-cell one which gives it nearly double autonomy. The Education Edition product are usually more robust and difficult to find because I believe they are mainly sold to schools to be used in a classroom.

You could get a new battery and keep the larger one for if/when you need it.

It is not a real powerful PC and you can probably find a more powerful HP for a similar price.

Hope it helps,

David

That's helpful, thanks.  I have a great machine at home (Intel NUC) and this is for the road.  I have an HP 360 notebookj that I bought a year ago that I don't like - can't change the battery.

Does this ProBook have a disk activity light?
