HP ProBook 440 14 inch G10 Notebook PC

I have several units of the HP ProBook 440 14 inch G10 Notebook PC model that are experiencing recurring charging and power-on issues. Some users report that the battery does not charge properly and sometimes the laptop does not turn on. We have tested with different AC adapters and docking stations (Docking Station G5 USB-C type), but the problem persists. In some cases, disconnecting and reconnecting the battery temporarily resolves the issue, and HP Support Assistant indicates that the battery needs calibration after disconnecting the battery, which I could think is normal.

However we do sometimes get the message to replace the battery even with computers that are pretty new to users or in the case of a computer I troubleshooted today is only 6 months new to the user, we want to avoid having to open the machines constantly to fix this problem.

This issue has affected more than 10 units, all of the same model. I have not found specific information about this problem in HP’s documentation. Is there a permanent solution to these charging and power-on issues in the HP ProBook 440 G10? Are there any firmware updates, software updates, or specific recommendations from HP to resolve this issue definitively?

Note: If along the responses some of you, need additional information please feel free to ask. Ill do the best to provide the needed information without compromising company information.
