I was wondering if there are any options to upgrade the laptops graphical power.
I am considering an eGPU, but am conserned about the compatibility and the lack of ThunderBolt. I want to know what eGPUs work both with USB-C and the laptop, while also considering if the lack of Thunderbolt makes it impossible to connect an eGPU resulting in better performance than the intergrated graphical prosessor. I don't care much about portabillity or power consumption, but I do not want to switch laptops.
If connecting the eGPU to USB-C is insufficient for a power boost, it would be fun to explore the options of using an M.2 port instead. I was also wondering if my model has space and ports for a dedicated GPU, but does not have the GPU. In that case I was wondering if technically it was possible to install the appropriate GPU? I know this is ridiculous, but it would certainly be a fun (and extremly risky) project.

For an eGPU to work, your laptop needs to have USB Type-C Thunderbolt Gen 3 or 4.
Your laptop has USB Type-C Gen 2, which does not have the high data transfer rate needed.
