  • Hello community,

I was working on my laptop yesterday and it suddenly went off. I thought it was a flat battery so I connected to power supply. Switching it on I noticed battery was 0% after several minutes.

What could have happened and how can I resolve this?

Your laptop might be experiencing a battery or power supply issue. If your laptop suddenly shut down and the battery indicator shows 0% even after connecting to power, the problem could be due to a faulty battery, charging cable, or power adapter. First, check that all connections are secure and that your power adapter is functioning properly. If the connections are fine, try performing a hard reset by removing the battery (if removable), disconnecting the power, holding the power button for 15-20 seconds, then reconnecting everything and powering on the laptop.

Thank you for your response. However, issue persists. When charger is plugged in, the charging indicator light blinks
