HP ProBook 450 G10 Touch (822Q7UT)
Microsoft Windows 11

I'm considering buying a new laptop. HP ProBook 450 G10 Touch (822Q7UT) seems like the best candidate for my needs, but I have a strict requirement. I need to be able to install 64 GBs of memory.

According to official manual it has 32GBs as max, but in third party sources I saw that it can support more.

Does anybody who already owns it has 64GBs? Was there any issues with it?

As you can see from its specs

Max is 32GB BUT you should be able to upgrade to 64GB as shown from Crucial

Thank you.
I've seen these specs and crucial website and because of this discrepancy I'm asking for the real users experience with it.

Hello VBenedichuk.

The Probook 4xx G8/G9/G10s have pretty much the same UEFI firmware as the Probook (now renamed Elitebook) 6xx G8/G9/G10 series. Since the latter are a bit more expensive, HP -in its infinite wisdom- has decided on upgrading the 4xx Probooks with up to 32GBs of RAM, and the 6xx with the full 2x32GBs. We have also noticed here that HP has gone the extra mile, and filled in the SMBIOS data on the recent 4xx with the 32GB number....... This has absolutely nothing to do with the actual max RAM limit on these systems.

Users have been upgrading the 4xx Probooks to 2x32GBs of RAM for many years now, from the G8 and up. This is why most serious review sites mention that these laptops can be upgraded to 64GBs of DDR4 RAM, as seen on this [content removed] review. You can also purchase them from various sites like Amazon, Newegg, Walmart, etc already upgraded to the limit.

Take care!
