Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey, My laptop model is HP ProBook 450 G2, Config: core i5 5200, 2.20GHz.

Now I want to upgrade/add a m.2 SSD. There have a m.2 SSD slot. I saw the recommendation in their website is 120gbBut I want to add 256gb (it's highly needed) m.2 ssd in this slot. If I add 256gb will it work or not. Please Help.

And this laptop can support NVMe SSD? If yes, which SSD Should I buy please suggest me.

From the image, the slot is very short, it accepts 2242 size only.  I believe vendors have 2242 format with larger 120GB. HP does not have compatible size

Samsung only has 2280 format

You have to source elsewhere.  Note: longer than 2243 (42mm) won't physically fir.

Hello sir, Thanks for replying me.

I know about it's length size. It's 42mm.

But for ensure I just asking that can I add more than 120gb (storage size) of ssd? which is recommended on their website.

I want to add Transcend 430S 256GB M.2 SSD (42mm) Will it work?

Regards
