Hello all.. I have a Probook 450 G2 I ordered a SSD for it.... I bought the SATA to USB adapter as well.. Are these an easy install or a hard install to do? I would post which one I bought but not sure if im allowed to or not.

You can post what you bought. That is not against the rules of participation.
I hope you bought an M.2 SSD instead of a SATA-3 SSD.
Both will work, but the former has considerably faster access times.
The M.2 SSD needs to be a M.2 2242 SSD

Sure. That will work. It just isn't as fast as an M.2 SSD.
@dkishton1486It is still a worthwhile upgrade.
See the videos at the following link to see how the removal and replacement are done.

It is an easy install. Use the usb a=to sata adapter to clone it with the Crucial provided software and then swap it for the original 2.5" hard disk.

It could be bought at another vendor. It is a hard to find size. most M.2 SSD products are 2280. Your notebook needs a 2240.

I bought a Crucial SSD upgrade (migration) kit that was delivered with Acorn cloning software and a USB to SATA connector.
Did your kit have the Acorn software? It may be downloadable from the Crucial website.
The cloning was seamless and worked the first time.
I swapped the SSD into the hard disk cradle and it booted up and behaved just like the old one, except that it booted to Windows incredibly fast!!
