HP ProBook 450 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi guys,

i have an HP ProBook 450 G3 with an preinstalled 256 GB M.2 SSD.  When i opend the back of my Laptop i saw an empty slot for an 2.5 inch SSD or hdd. Now i am wondering, if i can install a second 2.5 inch sdd or hdd and run both simultaneously. Or is this not possible with this model?

I hope somebody can answer my question and I would be happy to receive an answer.

greetings

David

Yes, you can, but...

Service manual

See p. 39.

In addition to a 2.5 inch SATA hard drive or SSD you need one of these:

Hard drive Hardware Kit (includes bracket and screws) 828147-001

HP charges $10.41 for it:
