Product: HP ProBook 450 G8
Hello,
I have an issue with my new ProBook 450 G8. I've installed new BIOS update and after that my webcam stopped working.
It's listed in device manager as 'PC Camera' ->USB Video Device
. I've tried all drivers, each and every advice I could find, but couldn't resolve the issue.
In device manager hardware ids: USB\VID_1BCF&PID_0B13&REV_0100&MI_00
Manufacture: Microsoft
. Please help, I need it for work, can't believe that a new laptop has such a failure
Thanks in advance.

Hello Kewang637.
I have a probook 650 g8 and had intermittent failures with the camera from the very beginning (NO BIOS update). What worked for me was uninstalling driver, RESTART to BIOS options where I disabled the camera, RESTART to BIOS to reenable camera and installing latest driver. Have you tried this? I don't know if it will work for you since my problem was NOT because of BIOS update......
