I have a  HP ProBook 450 G8 notebook paired with a HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2 hub and external keyboard and mouse.

The external keyboard and mouse will lag regularly or stop indeterminately we can’t figure out why. I use several different HP laptops and varying HP docks, but its only with this specific laptop and hub combo that causes the lagging issue.

Tried updating the Windows OS on the machine, switching keyboard and mouse, using different G2-docks but still no change.

 

All the research into this points to updating the BIOS and/or Firmware on the laptop/hub but that didn’t help either.
The issue persists and  the lagging has gotten worse after the G8-laptop BIOS update.

 

If anyone could please provide insight to this issue or perhaps a solution to this issue, I would be grateful.
