Dear Sir/Madam,
We got an HP ProBook 450 15.6 inch G9 and an Thunderbolt Dock 120W G4.
Are these compatible with each other?
In the documentation of this laptop, it says this is a suitable docking station, but we don't get a picture in any way.
We tried different monitors, laptops and docking stations.
Thanks for the information.

Compatible, but with quite a few limitations because of the generation the laptop is from.
The laptop does not have ports other than the VGA and HDMI that are video output capable to displays except when directly connected to the notebook.
The chipset and ports on the laptop are not capable of passing a video signal to the dock.
You will need a more modern laptop to use the notebook as a desktop substitute with the dock.
