HP ProBook 4530s 1600hz RAM.

Hello.

I have hp with i7-2860QM processor. I installed 16GB of ddr3L RAM at 1600Hz, but at the same time on a laptop it runs at 1333Hz, although the processor itself supports a frequency of 1600Hz. I would like to know if the laptop itself supports it and is it possible to run a frequency of 1600Hz on it.

Hi:

The processor may support the speed but the Mobile Intel HM65 chipset your notebook has only supported memory speeds up to 1333 Mhz.

You're very welcome.

If the notebook had come with the mobile intel HM75 chipset, then the processor would have run the memory at 1600 MHz.
