Thank you for answering.

Whence these data?

There is no specific data on the intel site: https://ark.intel.com/products/64345/Mobile-Intel-HM76-Express-Chipset

But I found this data:

What can you recommend?

I can't see any laptop from Intel therefore I can't comments.  The following manual is from HP:

     http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03531708

Each vendor can have their own implementation. For example, an air liner can buy an Airbus A380 but it can arrange seats inside to suit its need. By the way, if you wish to try, please use RAM from the gollowing vendor

I now have a memory of 1600 (6 GB). The instruction says the frequency should be 1333. Who to believe: HP instructions or motherboard characteristics?

@Serg_Novikov

It may downgrade to 1333MHz even it accepts 1600MHz. I normally say running a fast car on a speed limitted road.

I was interested in this issue because I saw in the AIDA64 that the motherboard supported 16 GB and the memory types DDR3-1066/1333/1600/1866, so I wanted to make an update, but I don't want to waste money.
