Hi everyone,
I recently acquired an HP ProBook 650 G2. It’s running smoothly, except the touchpad isn’t working at all.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Performed a clean installation of Windows 10.
Installed all available Windows updates.
Downloaded and installed the touchpad driver from the official HP website.
Reset the BIOS to factory defaults, just in case there was a setting disabling the touchpad.
Despite all this, the touchpad still won’t work. It’s detected in Device Manager with the hardware ID 'ACPI\VEN_SYN&DEV_3031'. Also, when I check under 'Touchpad settings' in Windows, it shows that the laptop has a precision touchpad, so it’s definitely being recognized.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
