My HP ProBook G2 will run on battery alone, on AC alone or on both together but the battery will not charge. HP's Support Assistant shows PASS to the AC adapter but FAIL to the battery with the notes LOGIC STATE: CALIBRATE and BLOWN FUSE and the error code UCXXVF-8H0B0M-MFGK7G-C6CU03. What fuse is the message referring to, what is are specs and where is it located? Where on HP's web site can I find the list of error codes necessary interpret the code noted above? For the record, the battery is brand new (purchased from Amazon) and is one of two new batteries I bought, both of which return the same error conditions and messages. Please advise how to proceed.

Hi:
You will find the error code reports provide very little useful information.
I can only help you with providing the error code report, which is below, minus your notebook's serial number.
UCXXVF-8H0B0M-MFGK7G-C6CU03 | OK | 0000000000 | 1/21/22 | 619 | Power | AC Adaptor, Battery, Cache Battery Pack, Charger, Power Cord, Power Supply | Battery 1 Blow Fuse |
There is no fuse inside the notebook that I am aware of.
Below is the link to the service manual. I did a 'find on page' search of the word Fuse, with negative results.
The original battery is not sold by HP but see if you can get an original HP OEM battery from a reseller if you have been buying generic batteries.

There is a video on YouTube that shows how to replace a fuse on the MOBO controlling the battery charging system of another model of HP laptop. I suspect there is such a fuse on my MOBO but I would sure like to see HP's documentation of that topic which appears to be non-existent. I did talk to an HP tech who knew less about my laptop than I did. His only advice was to take the laptop to an HP authorized repair shop but couldn't tell me where such a shop was near me.
