Hi all,

My laptop had had a great battery life over all, I've always took care and made sure to keep it unplugged when it hit the 100% and all. But today, the battery just stopped charging. I plug it in, and it constantly says "5:00 hours to full charge" and stays on 0%, kinda heats up below and the fan makes a pretty loud noise of hard work. when I unplug it, it shuts down in a few seconds. how do I fix this problem?

Thank you!

Start with the more obvious and easier option, consider:

Replace the battery

It appears that this situation is beyond the "testing" phase...

Nonetheless, if you want to do so, test the battery and the AC Adapter.
