Product: Probook 440 g5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Im needing some more storage on my 440 G5. i have a 256 ssd in it with the OS on, but I'm wanting to add a HDD just for additional storage for Music, Photos and My uni stuff, as a lot of it is of large size. what type of hdd do i need for the laptop can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance guys.

Good evening Antpavey,

 

Which type of SSD is installed?   Describing your notebook as an HP Probook 440 G5 is a  good start, but it does not give us much idea of the specific configuration of your notebook.

 

 is it SATA or M.2 PCIe NVMe TLC SSD?

 

You should consider purchasing an external USB SSD.  I use a Western Digital Elements external drive of 1TB capacity.
