HP Probook 440 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

I bought HP Probook 440. I want to use USB-C for charging this laptop. For this I bought Baseus 65W GaN charger, it supports PD 3.0, which is needed for charging this HP. But I had this issue: the laptop is charging, but only after the hard reset (holding the Power button 30 sec.). If I do not make a hard reset, the laptop does not respond to the connection of the charger.

I assume this is a software problem. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

I had this configuration: i5-8265u version, Win 10 LTSC. I try to change USB-C power cords, but nothing happens.

Nobody can help me?

I have the exact same issue!

And the only fix appears to be hard resetting the laptop by pushing the power button for 15 seconds before plugging it in.

The same fix is also needed to make the brightness keys work in Linux after booting Windows.

I'm running the latest bios version.

This charging issue is definitely a deal breaker for me, it's already caused me to run out of battery once while working.
