Hello,
I have HPProbook 440 G8 laptop, I bought it in January 2023 from Hungary and then I moved to Turkey and living here, since couple of weeks I have an issue with charging the laptop, I plug in the charger cable, it sometimes doesn't charge and sometimes charges, usually charging until battery is like 40-50 percent and after that it stops, is this a general issue what actions should I take to solve the issue
Thank you very much in advance

Run a test on the battery and power supply using HP Support Assistant. Or you can use the UEFI diagnostics in preboot. These links explain. Let us know the results of the test(s).

Look through the links I posted and calibration instructions will be there. You can do a battery calibration through the HP Support Assistant app from within Windows I know for sure. If the AC adapter is plugged in and the test does not recognize it that is not good. It means you have an intermittent connection which is more than likely a problem with the charging port on the motherboard. Unfortunately that is not something an end user without serious technical skills and tools can hope to deal with. The laptop needs to be examined by a good technician.

I have followed the instructions and run the calibration as well, after the calibration battery didn't charge till 99 or 100 percent but it was charged till 93 percent, I don't know if it is an issue, I will observe the laptop charging situation couple of days more and if the issue continues I will contact to local support, thank you very much for your help
