The 2 TB disk I thought was replacing a 2.5 inch hard drive. There is also an M.2 slot and if you have a 256 gig M.2 SATA in there, as you apparently do, you can still replace the 2.5 inch SATA hard drive with a 2 TB + SSD and keep the M.2 SSD. And yes that memory will be fine if you add it to the memory you already have.
