Hello! I just orderd a new HP Notebook - Probook 450 G6 (5TL53EA). It comes with 1TB HDD 5400rpm and I want to add a SSD.

What type of M2 ssd should I buy? 

Sata-3 - PCI-e - NVME x2 - NVME x4 ... I'm lost :))

Here is the Service Manual:

Pages 37-45 show how to do the upgrade which is a Customer self-repair item so no worry about warranty. Also only models with Intel Core CPU have an M.2 slot...not Pentium or Celeron. To make it really easy the M.2 SSD you want is a Samsung 970 Evo or Evo Plus. This is a 2280 form factor PCIe/NVME gen 3 x4 M.2. That type will be the fastest.
