HP Probook 450 G8 Notebook

I have a HP Probook 450 G8 Notebook pc.

Since I plan to use it with external monitors, I figure is it safe to use this laptop with the lid closed?

Meaning using the laptop this way (with the lid closed) is  obstructing the ventilation system in anyway? Causing overheating problems/damaging the LCD ?

Thanks,

@mgroen

It is a business class machine and could be 90% or more users close machines anyway. I close my machines and use external monitor(s) nearly 100% of my time on computers.

Regards.

with all due respect, the fact that you use your machines closed (so am I), does not convince me that its safe that this specific model (HP Probook 450 G8) is designed to be safely operative with the lid fully closed.

I mean, its just based on your experiences.

I'd like to see a more conclusive answer with related design specifications, to fully tackle the question.
