Hi
Got an old HP Probook 650 G2 with an 256 GB SSD M2 disk drive.
I want to change the diskdrive to one with bigger capacity, but what is the greatest drive supported by the computer

Your service manual (on pp2-3) states your model series supports a 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD gen 3x4 2280.
Crucial says your model supports up to 4 TB M.2 NVMe either gen 4 or gen3. Your M.2 slot is gen3 so if you install an NVMe gen4, it'll run at gen3 speeds.

If you want more than 512 Gb, perhaps, you can get a Crucial 1 or 2 TB NVMe gen 3, as they guarantee compatibility.
