HP ProBook 6560b
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello community.

I need help about memory compatible with ProBook 6560b...

I have read to many pages on the topic and  still did not find a solution. At the moment, I have 4GB - original in the laptop, but I would like 16GB (2x8GB) witch is manufacturer max for this model. I have tried with "samsung" memory , 2x8GB, but with no luck in any combination. one modul in slot one, or in slot two,  second modul also, or both at the same time - result is allways the same - no boot.

Than, I find on "Crucial" official site that "Crucial 8GB DDR3L-1600 CL11 SO-DIMM memory" is compatible

(Design: SODIMM, Type: Unbuffered, non-ECC connection 204pin default DDR3L - 1600 (PC3-12800) tension 1.35V)

and just few minutes before spending  80euros ,I read that it is not 100% sure that it will work...

Can somebody tell me what memory will work in my laptop?

Older HP business machines strictly require RAM sticks with HP specs even HP uses few suppliers. From the manual (page 72) you can find 8GB part #. You also need to update BIOS of your machine.

Information from Crucial is very reliable, it should work. Again, try to update BIOS first

Regards.
