I just upgraded the BIOS to the newest 2016 version for this laptop does that mean the laptop may supports other APU's not listed in the manual that was printed back in 2011
I would like to know if I put in the A8-3530MX if it would work? I do know the A8-3510MX is supported but with a newer BIOS mean more support for other APU's other then the 3 listed back in 2011
Anything is better then this A4 that's installed now. I plan to buy a APU upgrade next week and would like to know before I order what's the best one that will work in my laptop. I find it odd that HP only lists 3 APU's in the support list but added a new BIOS version a few years ago.
I found this site that lists my laptop and this APU as supported

Thanks for any help you may give me.
