HP Probook 650 G5
ProdID: 7KW42UT#ABA

Unit brought in to IT department for battery no longer functioning. Onboard tests indicated no battery detected, all other diagnostics pass. Replaced battery with brand new, identical replacement from HP directly, battery model CD03XL part# 931702-541. New battery does not detect either, onboard diagnostics and HP hardware diagnostics in Windows both show no battery detected. Have gone through the steps of uninstalling ACPI driver (no delete driver option appears) and reseating battery as well as power cycling the machine to no avail, as well as resetting BIOS to defaults and updating BIOS. System simply does not detect battery, but all other components pass diagnostics both in and out of Windows. Any further assistance would be much appreciated.

P.S.: Ran Windows battery report, which detects battery to have a 24,192mWH, but does not detect a full charge capacity or cycle count. Last time it apparently detected battery was in late November last year. Report states design capacity at the time was 48,017 mWh and full charge capacity was 36,347 mWh.
