Hi,
I saw amer led falshing in my HP Proliant DL380 Gen8 server. I have run Smart Array and following result was found:
Smart Array P420i in Embedded Slot has one or more cache module batteries/capacitors that are failed. Caching operations such as Expansion, Extension, and Migration are temporarily suspended until the batteries/capacitors are replaced. Please consult the user guide to identify and replace the failed components.

The cache is permanently disabled

Hi:
HP split into two companies a few years ago. HP and HP Enterprise (HPE).
HPE is the company that handles server support.
