HP Proobook 450 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,
I would like to connect my PC (HP Proobook 450 G5) to the monitor via the USB Type-C to  monitor's Display Port.
For this, the USB Type-C port must support alternate (video) mode.

Does this notebook support DisplayPort alternate mode?

From the specifications it is not clear.

PS. Here is the cable I would like to buy

Thanks

Frank

DP alt is included with your USB-C port. Description in the Service Manual:

USB Type-C (PD+DP, gen 1)

That means it has Power Delivery (you can attach a charger to it} and gen 1 displayport. That cable will work fine.
