HP Probook 450 G8 (43A22EA)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

Recently I bought 3 exatcly same laptops: HP Probook 450 G8 (43A22EA) with widnows 11 installed. I configured every laptop, installed all avaiable drivers etc (except BIOS). After a short period (2-3 weeks) I recieved signals from workers that after few days of not using them, batteries are completly drain off (0%) and charger need to be connected to even start system.

I've made few test:

- changing power plan,

- disabling fast boot,

- installing Windows 10,

- installing Linus/Debian,

- updating BIOS,

None of them made any change to battery behavior. Completly shutted down laptop takes 5-15% of battery overnight, on all systems (10, 11, Debian) so it seems that problem is not system related..

2 of 4 USB ports are still active after shutdown and they can't be deactivated in BIOS, even after updating to latest version. It seems that they are designed for charging other devices when laptop is shutted down. Every time i perform a test, there was no device connected to laptop, especially to these ports.

My guess is that these active port drains battery but I see no option to disable it. Anyone have similiar problem and could share solution?
