HP Omen
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello community, I hope you can help.
I bought an m.2 ssd from hp on ebay. However, the seller did not send the original invoice and no longer respond to my emails.
Unfortunately, the m.2 causes problems. When booting, my HP Omen Notebook says SMART Hard Disk Error. The SSD is new, was originally packaged and shrink-wrapped. The CrystalDiskInfo tool shows the status at 100 percent but bad.
The m.2 has a 3 year guarantee, since I do not know where it was bought, how can I fall back on guarantee services without receipt? Can SMART be deactivated on the HP OMEN 17-cb0647ng? I hope you can help. Thank you.20210214_175609.jpg20210214_203712.jpgIMG_20200906_084356.jpg20210214_175609.jpg20210214_203712.jpg

You can try to make a claim with HP on the SSD warranty.

Hello Huffer, thanks for the quick reply. The link refers to a 500GB m.2
But I have the 1TB variant.
And since I'm not very familiar with it, does it matter that I live in Germany?
Best regards.

Not sure. I have never had to make a warranty claim from Germany.

There is a sticker on the M.2 that states the importer. I left a message for him, let's see. I just find it strange that the 1TB variant is not listed on HP. But I'll keep you up to date.
