OMEN by HP - 15-dc0086nu
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I desided to upgrade my old SSD and bought HP SSD FX900 Pro , for my HP OMEN 15-dc0086nu.

I tried isntalling fresh windows 10 on it but the isntalation fails with blue screen in random locations after the isntalation. (tried both usb and dvd methods).
I managed to start the windows 2-3 times and do few windows updates but it ends up in blue screen after 20-30sec.(some updates ended up on retry, some got installed).

After reading for few days i think that one or more parts from my laptop are not compatable/missing drivers for the ssd.?

Does anyone know about the compatabilities of the devices i listed?

Thanks in advance
Milan

I see that you are using OMEN by HP - 15-dc0086nu and I checked and found out that HP SSD FX900 Pro is not compatible with your system. However, below is the maintenance guide which will help you find the right part.
