HP Notebook - 15-da2006nx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently my HP laptop was dead slow and I went to authorized HP service center. They said it is an issue with hard disk and to be upgraded to SSD. After replacement they gave me the laptop. I checked and found that they installed Samsung SSD. When I asked, they said it is originally supplied by HP manufactured by Samsung. Is HP supplies or uses Samsung SSDs.  My laptop is out of warranty and they took respectable amount from me. Please help and clarify.

Hi:

Yes, HP uses Samsung SSDs in their notebooks.

I have a HP notebook that came from the factory with a 512 GB Samsung NVMe SSD.

They may use other brands too, such as Micron, etc,

There's no such thing as a SSD made by HP.

HP may put their label on a SSD but it is made by some other company.

HP makes no original parts for their PC's.
