Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The HP Drive when you check HP support states the serial number is invalid. Brand new drive from Office depot. The HP Portable Storage P600 does not work on HP Laptop or Lenovo Laptop. The product number comes back as invalid as well. The drive shows up as a DVD drive. The drive shows up in device manager, but can not be formatted.

I Have the same issue, so this is not an isolated case. My SSD shows up as a DVD on MacBook Pro so I cannot use it for storage at all.
