Hello. I recently have been receiving this message about my power adapter every time i restart my laptop and it recommends connecting a higher capacity Smart AC Adapter. I've used this same charging cord for 3 or 4 years(Ever since i got my laptop). Should I do what the message says or ignore it?Hp-Support Adapter.JPG

@Kenny25 Here's all you need to know and do, to resolve the issue:

check the C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP System Event.

Simply rename USBCMSG.exe to USBCMSG.exe.old and it should resolve the issue.

A good tip: you can find the file by opening Task Manager after the popup (and while its still open), right-clicking on the HP System Information program and then selecting Open File Location, it should work.

P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉
