This has happened before but it would always turn on in a few minute when I held the power button for a few seconds but it isn’t this time

Suggested Steps to Try

  1. Perform a Full Power Reset
    • Disconnect the charger from the laptop.
    • Press and hold the power button for 30–60 seconds.
    • Release the power button, plug in the charger, and try turning on the laptop again.
  2. Check the Charger and Port
    • Ensure the charger is the original HP adapter and the cable isn’t damaged.
    • Try a different wall outlet.
    • Look for any debris in the charging port that could prevent proper connection.
  3. Attempt Minimal Boot
    • Remove any peripherals (USB drives, external devices) and try turning on the laptop with only the charger connected.

I tried the above mentioned things but it didn’t help so I went to the help centre and they said it was a problem with the charging IC . They didn’t have the component and could only change the whole motherboard , which would cost a lot and suggested I rather get a new laptop so that’s probably what I’ll do .
