Microsoft Windows 11

My external USB connected keyboard has been acting funky lately. I lifted my HP Spectre 360 Notebook and saw that the back case was bulging. After researching, I've seen that others have had similiar problems and that they were caused by a "bulging battery".  I purchased this notebook in 2020 and it is no longer covered under warranty. Is this an issue for anyone else?
