My HP Spectre Folio leather covering is splitting badly. It started out with small tears and I did not see the need to repair it then as it was barely noticeable. However, recently, it has been almost falling apart, even though it is used only sparingly. My warranty has expired a few months ago, and the customer support on Whatsapp told me to fix it elsewhere as nothing can be done by HP. However, it is difficult for external repair centers to replace the covering as it is tailor-made for the laptop. I offered to pay for the out-of-warranty service but this was also not possible. HP, is there something you can do?
