Spectre x360 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased a HP Spectre several years ago and enjoyed it for the first two years but am frustrated that I just had to replace the motherboard for a second time - most recently in December 2020. Prior to that it was August 2018. Both repairs were very expensive, and during my most recent repair, it was in the shop for over four weeks.

My question involves the durability of the repair? I am currently unemployed but have agreed to start a contract role shortly. The firm would like me to complete the work on my personal laptop versus a company provided one. However, even though it was just repaired in December, it already gets warm and the fan runs loudly sometimes when I use it, which worries me. I'm not sure if the most recent Motherboard should give me at least a year or more or can it go out at anytime?

Thanks.

Does anyone from HP respond here, or do people just put issues out here for their own benefit?
