Up until recently, I have not had many problems with my HP Spectre x360 laptop. But a few months ago out of nowhere it completely wiped its contents, restarted the computer, and made it so I couldn't log in. I eventually got into the computer and had it looked at by a few places (no files were there and it was incredibly slow). After running diagnostic tests and such, all told me that the only thing they could think of would be hoping it is not a hardware issue and factory resetting the device. I did that, and it works as normal for now. However, now the computer heats up very fast and the fan is in full force to try to cool it off. Just today, the fan started making very loud mechanical grinding noises when i was only running google chrome with almost nothing on the computer at all.
Is this likely a hardware issue? And if it probably is, what might be the best way to get it looked at or best options moving forward?
Thanks in advance!
