My HP Spectre (2 years old only), emitted smoke when plugged in and stopped charging. I tried plugging again, and smoke was emitted again. I used HP charger only, and have taken great care of the product. This however felt like an extremely big safety concern. Few weeks leading to this, I had observed it got hot easily even with light tasks, and had to switch it off at times. Now my device battery is dead, hence won't start and can't charge it. How can I fix it? It's not in warranty, but even if it were I'm afraid if it can be hazardous to use it.
