- HP Spectre X2 Detachable and On-Screen Keyboard Not Working

Yesterday, I turned on my HP Spectre X2, which has never given me any problems, and the keyboard wasn't working. The computer thinks that I'm holding down the ctrl key, and everything behaves accordingly. This happens with both the detachable keyboard it came with, a detachable keyboard off an identical model that isn't experiencing the problem and with the on-screen keyboard.
I tried restarting it normally and by holding down the power key with the up volume key, pressing all combinations of crtl, alt, shift, delete, etc., turning off the sticky key setting, using sharpkeys to bind the ctrl keys together, and finally wiping the PC completely, including all save files. I also did cmd + sfc /scannow with no results.
Even after the full system wipe, the issue persists with all three aforementioned keyboard options.
Everything I've tried makes it feel like I'm going to have to completely replace the device even though it's what should be a simple issue. I'm hoping someone here can help me fix the issue without having to do that.
