Hello

 

From few weeks on restarts I get old battery worning/alert suggesting to buy new one. My battery last for 10-15 minuts...

 

Is it possible to change a battery in this laptop (especialy in Poland) ?

is it possible to add some additional RAM to it? (I have 4GB only).

 

Laptop is great, suprisingly fast (as for 4GB RAM and M3 core) and beautyfull. I would love to keep it alive for 1-2 years more.

I realy regret HP stoped production of this model (or some upgraded version X3, X4...), many people ask me wher they can buy such a great laptop like mine 🙂

For battery, you can order

 

   3-cell, 42-Wh, 3.69-Ah, Li-ion battery (includes cable) part # 814060-850

 

from HP in your country or use part # to order online stores such as Amazon, eBay.

 

For RAM: No, you have to buy new systemboard which contains Intel processor, 8.0-GB of system memory, and the Windows  operating system. All components and motherboard are on one piece of hardware called Systemboard.

Inside my laptop (12-a001na) I have this informations on a battery:

ML03XL Reachargeable Battery
HP part number 813999-1C1
11.4V = 42Wh, 3570 mAh, 13.05V

 

Replace with HP spare: 814227-005
CT: 6FCLH02WY9N17D, Mig date 2015/10
