HP Spectre X360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased a new HP Spectre X360 2 in 1 Notebook from Best Buy within the last two weeks. I was working on it today and plugged in the AC Adapter that came with the laptop when it entered battery saver mode at 20%, but received a notification that I had connected a "low-power power source" and it suggested connecting the original adapter which I had just plugged in. I looked around online and followed the suggestions to run the diagnostics on the drivers for the battery and AC Adapter, both reading that they were operating correctly. I went through HP Support Assistant, running another test on the battery, which requested I plug in the AC adapter to complete it. I plugged in the adapter but received the same low-power power source message, but the diagnostic completed reading that the everything was operating correctly. I'm a little lost in this arena, as I purchased the laptop in order to take notes and record audio files, so the technical side of removing the battery and invalidating the warranty to end up potentially causing damage I cannot undue seems like a losing situation. If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know either way. Thank you,
