HP Spectre X360-13-4001ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi experts

,I need youre kind advice please.

In my HP Spectre X360 13-4001ng  (XHD resolution) the display screen is damaged and I can't get a spare XHD display assembly (HP part nr. 80196-001)

The HP Spectre service manual for models 13-1400 through 13-4099 (Page 46) says that:

Display assembly nr. 801496-001 should be used, Quote"

13.3-in, QHD, WLED, BrightView (2560×1440), UWVA, 2.55-mm in natural silver finish for use only on computers with model numbers 13-4000 through 13-4099.  "Unquote.

Further in the table  it says that the display assembly nr. 80195-001should be used, Quote"

13.3-in, FHD, WLED, BrightView (1920×1080), UWVA, 2.55-mm in natural silver finish for use only on computers with model numbers 13-4000 through 13-4099. "Unquote.

My question:

Since both display assemblies i.e. 801495-001 and 801496-001are disignated for use in HP Spectre X360 models 13-4001 through 13-4099, can I use assembly 80195-001 instead of 801496-001 and vice versa?

I think it should work but would be greatful for your confirmation and or kind advice from the experts

Thanks for your support in advance.

Best regards

User071.
