I have a SPECTRE 13T-AE000 . I am also having a problem with the keyboard. I have looked online and there are a fair number of reports that within about 18 months, the same pattern of keys (usually the home row or the one above it--all keys except the middle two) fail, and it is a hardware issue. The pattern suggests to me that particular connections are failing in a lot of the laptops.

Since this is a Hardware issue and the Keyboard needs to be replaced, I suggest you contact HP Support for Service Options
Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ and select your Country to get the Contact details for HP Support
