HP Spectre X360 just over 1 year old. Battery is dead, chargers will not charge the laptop . I get three flashing ambers lights. Also tried to charge with USB-c charger. NO lights. I tried a hard rest that didnt work. I ordered a new battery that came with 17% charge.. Laptop turned on with the CMOS error and the charger started to charge the battery and laptop turned on. I powered down and restarted and now charger will not work. and the battery is dead. I ran I system test before the laptop died and it said everything passed but the charger failed. I went to Best Buy to try another known working charger and that did not charge. We tried a USB-C 100 w, that looked like it was charging but was not.
It seems that when I remove the battery and reconnect I can get the charger to charge and the laptop to turn on u the minute its powered down it no linger charges..
I would find it strange that both USB-C and Ac adapter port both failed..
I have a second laptop same brand and worried this will happen to that one too
