The battery of my HP Spectre 13-v011dx (ENERGY STAR) is bloated due to which the bottom panel of the computer has opened up. I took it to my local authorized repair center and was told that I would need to replace the battery but HP has discontinued manufacturing the battery required for my computer. I contacted HP customer support a few days ago but haven't received a response. How do I resolve this issue?

That's the bronze colored "world's thinnest" HP Spectre. I had one of those a few years back and my employee is still using it. HP will not have the battery any more. Must be ordered from a parts supplier.
Post back if you need replacement instructions. The back comes off fairly easily to do the swap.
